Farzana is Founder and CEO of Curzon PR, an award-winning strategy and global communications firm. Farzana set up Curzon in 2009 after previously serving as Vice-Chair of Business Relations for the British Conservative Party. Farzana has nurtured Curzon PR, driving it forward as an international leading communications agency, representing a wide variety of clients across three key portfolios – Government, Corporate and Arts & Culture.
Government clients have included the government’s of Canada, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Bahrain. Corporate clients have included Apollo, DLF and 12 Hay Hill whilst Arts & Culture clients have included the Ukrainian Biennale, Hyper Japan and Art Bahrain Across Borders.
Head of Outreach
David Hawkins is the Head of Outreach and VIP Relations for ArtBAB. David spent over five years working for notable Indian industrialist SK Modi, a large part of the role was the development of his art foundation, Arts for India and the creation in London of Indian Art Week. During this time he also worked with a number of anglo-Indian artists. He is an advisor to AngelWorld Family Office Advisory, one area of the firms work is contemporary art sales.
He has published articles on Christie’s sales as well as features and commentary on modern and contemporary Indian art. Prior to working with the Modis he consulted to Arts & Business where he partnered firms with the arts, whilst developing a high-net worth patron group, Culture House.
Tasneem Al Shurougi
Artist and Gallery Liaison
Tasneem Al-Shurougi is a graduate of the American University of Paris majoring in Art History and Visual Culture – Currently working as a Project Coordinator for all projects under Art Select. Her role is to represent and liaise with Local and International artists. Throughout her time between Paris and Bahrain, she has developed an eye for seeking young and local talents and encouraging them, by showcasing their works. Her aim is to break stereotypes and to empower the art sector in the Kingdom. She is extremely passionate about educating people, especially younger generations into cultivating a career into art and molding it into the global market. One of her main goals is to introduce Corporate Art Collecting in the financial sector.
Genevieve is a graduate in Tourism studies with over 5 years of experience in the field of event management. Having worked as an administrative support professional in the past, her experience includes, managing fundraisers, sports tournaments and cultural events. Currently she handles corporate communications for the company, assists with public relations and liaises with vendors during art exhibitions.
Avelina Estibeiro is a graduate in Business Administration and has built a career in marketing over the years. She has firsthand exposure in coordinating large and small events. Backed up by more than 3 years of experience in developing marketing strategies for clients in various industries predominantly IT and PR, her core strength lies in client management. She is currently handling VIP relations- hospitality management and coordinating various aspects of the events organized by ArtSelect, including vendor management, logistics and tours.
