  • You are requested to submit high-resolution images of each proposed work (1000 pixels on the longest side and a resolution of 300dpi. The acceptable file formats are: jpg, gif, and png - please save with name of work / year details in title of the file).
    Total size of all images may not exceed 8Mb - if the total size of all images does exceed 8Mb it will prevent the form's submission.

  • General Conditions of Participation for Artists

    1. Age Requirement: this juried series of International Artist Programme (IAP) events are open to all artists 18 years of age born in and holding the nationality of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
    2. The work must be original: you must be the creator of the art that you submit to IAP 2017. Your art must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else's material. (If your image infringes upon another's copyright it will be disqualified.) Upon submitting your work for these IAP Exhibitions, you are solely responsible for any infringement on copyrighted materials.
    3. The submitted Work must have been created in the last 2 years and be physically available from notification of acceptance to the end of the IAP Exhibitions period.
    4. The Work must be available for sale and the retail price should be stated on the Application form. The Jury have the right to discuss amending the asking price, should this be felt not to be in line with market expectations.
    5. The work should be no larger than 1.5 m on the longest length for a painting / photograph and no larger than 2 m high for a sculptural piece.
    6. It is your responsibility to ensure that by offering the Work to Art Select to sell on your behalf, you are not in breach of any contractual obligations with any third parties.
    7. Art Select will have the right to market and sell the work during the IAP exhibitions period in London and India. The international selection committee will decide the artist work to be exhibited at the event. Note: your work will only be selected for one of the exhibitions, London or India.
    8. It is your responsibility to deliver the selected Work to Art Select’s premises at your expense. It should be ready for Exhibition and in perfect condition. All packing, shipping and insurance costs from Bahrain to London and India and then return to Bahrain at the end of the Exhibition period will be borne by Art Select.
    9. Any unsold Work will be returned to you within 5 weeks of the close of the Exhibition.
    10. Copyright: The artist retains all copyrights to their artwork without exception.
    11. Non-exclusive Permissions: By participating in these IAP Exhibitions, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your artwork on our website and in our newsletters, and in the marketing of the IAP exhibitions to the general public. Artworks will not be used for any other purpose than that which is stated here. All winning entries will be displayed on the website.
    12. Submission Deadlines: Artworks may be submitted up until midnight on the last day of the submission schedule posted – August 10th. No artworks will be accepted past the posted deadline. You will be notified by August 24th if you have been selected.
